[Hiring] Insurance Account Manager @Coverflex

Role Description

Insurance at Coverflex sits somewhere between sales, advisory and getting things done. You’ll own insurance opportunities end to end, combining the commercial relationship with the technical work required to turn a customer need into the right insurance solution.

• Talk to customers to understand their needs.
• Work with insurers to build and negotiate proposals.
• Manage quotations and placement.
• Help turn opportunities into revenue.

You’ll know you’re successful when, after 90 days, you’ve:

• Taken ownership of insurance opportunities from customer conversation through quotation and placement.
• Built credible relationships with customers and key insurance partners.
• Started converting opportunities into new insurance revenue.
• Shown that you can independently navigate insurers, proposals, documentation and follow-ups.
• Become a trusted insurance reference for the wider Sales and Customer teams.

How we’ll measure success:

• Main KPI 1: Insurance revenue generated against your commercial target.
• Main KPI 2: Opportunities progressed and converted.
• Main KPI 3: Quality and speed of quotations and placement.
• Main KPI 4: Carrier relationships and negotiation effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience working in the Spanish insurance market, ideally within a broker or brokerage environment.
• Level 2 Insurance Mediation/Distribution License or higher.
• Strong knowledge of corporate insurance, particularly health insurance.
• Experience managing insurance customers or portfolios with commercial responsibility.
• Comfortable identifying opportunities, advising customers and closing business.
• Able to build strong relationships with insurers and navigate their organisations effectively.
• Confident working with different customer stakeholders, particularly HR and Finance.
• Strong organisation and follow through across multiple customers, insurers and processes.
• Fluent Spanish and comfortable working in English.

Requirements

• Experience across additional employee insurance products such as life and pensions (nice to have).
• Existing relationships with insurers in the Spanish market (nice to have).
• Experience managing larger or more complex corporate accounts (nice to have).
• Experience with renewals and portfolio management (nice to have).
• Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce (nice to have).

Benefits

• OTE: €61,000 – €71,000
• Base Salary: €45,000 – €55,000
• Commissions: up to ~ €16,000 based on commercial targets.
• Equity: Yes – Stock Options under our Equity Incentive Plan.
• Contract Type: Permanent.
