Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Client Partner to cover BFSI accounts with a strong preference for Banking. This is a 100% client-facing, senior strategic role focused on owning executive relationships, driving revenue growth, and expanding wallet share within existing strategic accounts. This is NOT a new-logo hunting role - it is a pure farming, account expansion, and strategic growth mandate.

Key Responsibilities

• Own strategic client relationships and serve as a trusted partner to senior business, technology, and executive stakeholders.
• Develop and execute account strategies focused on revenue growth, account expansion, cross-selling, and increasing wallet share.
• Understand client business and technology priorities and identify opportunities to position services across Cloud, Data & Analytics, AI/Automation, Digital Transformation, Application/Platform Modernization, and Managed Services.
• Lead strategic client conversations around business challenges, technology priorities, and transformation initiatives.
• Partner with solutioning, presales, consulting, and delivery teams to develop solutions and proposals aligned with client needs.
• Maintain executive oversight of ongoing engagements, ensuring strong customer satisfaction, retention, and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years within the IT services, technology consulting, or systems integration industry.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a Client Partner, Strategic Account Management, Account Growth, or similar client-facing role within IT services / technology consulting.
• Demonstrated experience managing and growing NAMED client accounts within Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance verticals.
• Proven experience owning and growing client revenue within existing accounts.
• Experience managing an annual portfolio of $3M–$5M+ preferred; candidates who have managed $1M–$3M+ will also be considered.
• Must have sold or expanded IT services such as Cloud, Data & Analytics, AI/Automation, Digital Transformation, Application Modernization, or Managed Services within existing client accounts.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong communication, executive presence, commercial acumen, and client engagement skills.
• Minimum 2 years stability in recent organizations.
• Willingness to travel extensively to client locations as required.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with a Systems Integrator, global technology services organization, consulting firm, or Big Four organization.
• Strong understanding of the IT services ecosystem.

Target Background

• Candidates from organizations like Tech Mahindra, Hexaware, LTIMindtree, Zensar Technologies, Virtusa, Persistent Systems, Globant, Allied Digital, Milestone Technologies and similar global technology services firms are highly desirable.
