[Hiring] Client Account Manager @OnHires

Role Description

We’re looking for a commercially minded Client Account Manager who understands the MSP / MSSP world and can take real ownership of client relationships. This is more than traditional account management. You’ll work closely with MSP and cybersecurity leaders, understand their growth challenges, shape solutions, and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts. You’ll have the autonomy to influence client strategy, proposals, retention, and revenue growth — with direct exposure to senior decision-makers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in MSP/MSSP account management, agency account management, channel partnerships, or a similar client-facing commercial role
• Strong understanding of managed IT / cybersecurity services and recurring-revenue businesses
• Comfortable discussing SEO, paid media, content, and digital growth with clients
• Proven commercial mindset — you’ve owned a book of business, revenue target, renewals, or expansion
• Experience creating proposals, sales materials, or sales-engineering content
• Excellent spoken and written English with strong client-facing communication skills
• Confident enough to identify a client’s commercial problem and recommend a solution — rather than simply passing the issue along

Requirements

• Existing relationships within the MSP / MSSP ecosystem
• Experience working with MSP-focused marketing or growth agencies
• Channel, partnerships, or referral-network experience
• Experience selling to technical B2B decision-makers

• Your experience is primarily coordination or task management
• You haven’t worked with MSPs, IT services, cybersecurity, or similar B2B technical buyers
• You prefer executing predefined processes rather than identifying opportunities
• You’re uncomfortable owning commercial conversations and revenue outcomes
