[Hiring] Account Manager, Client Engagement & Adoption @Altus Group

Role Description

Reporting to the Mid-Market Account Management Leader, we are hiring an Account Manager, Client Engagement & Adoption to join our growing Mid-Market team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of approximately 150 existing commercial real estate (CRE) client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for client engagement, adoption, retention, and growth. This is a highly client-facing, sales-adjacent account management role where success is driven by strong relationship management, disciplined execution, and proactive client engagement.

You will work in a two-to-one model with Sales Executives, supporting shared bookings targets while taking primary ownership of gross retention (GRR) outcomes. This role is best suited for someone who is hungry, coachable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where accountability and adaptability are critical.

This is a remote-first role based in the United States (Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred), supporting Northeast U.S. territories. Occasional travel (25% or less) is required for client engagement, meetings, and events.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, SDR/BDR, or Sales within a SaaS or B2B environment.
• Understanding of balancing client relationship building with retention, expansion, and revenue accountability.
• High level of curiosity, energy, and accountability.
• Comfortable engaging with clients at multiple levels.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is beneficial.
• Exposure to commercial real estate, financial services, or SaaS environments is an asset but not required.
