[Hiring] Account Manager @Spare

Role Description

We are hiring an Account Manager to join our Growth team!

• Drive revenue growth with our existing customers, through product and industry expertise.
• Be a key contact for existing customers to ensure the customer’s ongoing satisfaction and retention of their business.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to understand customer’s needs to identify up-sell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities and ensure contract renewals.
• Have a significant role in Spare's long-term growth and success!

Our Spare headquarters is located in Vancouver, BC, but this position is open to remote work options within Canada and the USA.

Qualifications

• Experience in Transit Technology sales and/or sales for government agencies (ideally 4+ years).
• Passion for and interest in Urban Planning and/or Transit (or correlated areas).
• Understanding of the transit industry (knowledge of the types of transit systems, regulations, and funding structures, to effectively support our customers and users).
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills) with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences in a personable way.
• Availability to travel frequently within Canada and the USA.

• It will be considered a plus if you have:
• Academic background in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Sociology, Sustainability, etc.
• Experience in a transit tech company.
• Experience in a transit agency.
