[Hiring] Account Manager @Blaise Transit Ltd

Role Description

We're looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team! You'll drive new business while managing and strengthening relationships with existing clients, including transit agencies, municipalities, counties, and non-profits.

You'll own the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, serve as a trusted client contact, and occasionally assist with customer support. This is an opportunity to combine your passion for public transit with sales and relationship management while making a meaningful impact on communities.

This is a full-time, remote position. Montreal-area candidates are preferred, but applicants must be based in the Eastern time zone. Occasional availability outside business hours may be required for urgent client needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients to grow our sales pipeline.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including outreach, discovery calls, demos, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
• Maintain an organized CRM and follow up consistently with prospects.
• Represent Blaise at industry conferences and events.
• Coordinate RFP responses with internal teams.
• Build strong relationships with existing clients and advocate for their needs.
• Identify upselling opportunities and manage contract renewals.
• Proactively monitor client satisfaction and resolve contract-related issues.
• Assist with client and technical support when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or account management preferred.
• Experience with municipalities, transit agencies, or government organizations is a strong asset.
• Education or experience in transportation, urban planning, public administration, or a related field is an asset.
• Passion for public transit and sustainable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; French is a strong asset.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable learning new technologies; experience with CRM, customer support, or project management tools is an asset.
• Resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
