Role Description

As an Account Manager at SchemeServe, your day-to-day will involve engaging with our clients regularly — through quality phone calls and video calls every day, as well as meeting clients in person once or twice a week.

• Cultivating long-lasting relationships that drive client retention and renewals.
• Helping customers succeed with SchemeServe.
• Working out who needs to be involved to solve problems.
• Bringing the right people together to find answers and keep things moving until a solution is found.
• Being curious about how things work and taking ownership.
• Working with technical and insurance experts to find a way forward.
• Enjoying regular in-person client meetings (typically once or twice per week).

Requirements

• Experience in account management, client relationship management, customer success, or a similar customer-facing role.
• A genuine curiosity about technology and an interest in understanding how software and systems work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical people.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• A proactive and diligent approach, with the ability to work at pace and follow things through without needing to be chased.
• Experience working with software, technology platforms, or SaaS products is highly desirable.
• The ability to build rapport easily and develop trusted, long-term client relationships.
• Experience in the insurance / Insurtech industry is a major bonus.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car for regular in-person client meetings.
