[Hiring] UX/UI Designer with Graphic Marketing Design Skills @OneSeven Tech

OneSeven Tech (OST) is seeking creative professionals on a contract basis to join our team as UX/UI Designers with graphic marketing design capabilities. This position is fully remote with a preference for candidates in the Miami, Mexico City, and Buenos Aires areas.

The role

About you

You are someone who thrives at the intersection of user experience, visual design, and marketing with a strong understanding of healthcare technology. In this role, you'll split your time between UX/UI design (50%) and marketing design (50%), playing a crucial role in our client's product development efforts. We're specifically looking for designers who understand healthcare provider workflows and can translate complex healthcare concepts into intuitive interfaces and marketing materials. You excel at taking abstract concepts from our team and presenting various solutions through interfaces, prototypes, and wireframes. With your keen eye for aesthetics and deep understanding of user-centered design principles, you'll create pixel-perfect designs that communicate clearly with development teams. You'll need to practice design thinking methodologies, create designs with user testing in mind, and maintain explicit communication while adhering to design guidelines for accessibility and brand consistency. We value candidates who have adopted modern AI tools to become more efficient in their workflow.

Onboarding

Onboarding will be conducted by video call. We expect a quick onboarding process, enabling you to contribute to projects swiftly after starting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working as UX/UI Designer in mobile/web app field
• Experience or understanding of healthcare technology and provider workflows is required
• Strong ability to translate concepts into various design solutions (interfaces, prototypes, wireframes, etc.)
• Experience with marketing design for websites, flyers, and other marketing collateral
• Intermediate English level (important)
• Demonstrate an AI-first mindset to inform and guide design decisions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work 9am-5pm EST
• Provide your own workspace with reliable Internet service
• Passionate about the startup environment and eager to learn
• Team player, willing to jump outside of their role to help the greater team
• Ability to research as you work
• Accountable for your own time in a fully remote environment

Technical Requirements

• Well versed in Figma (e.g., Variables, advanced prototyping techniques) and consistently integrate new functionalities into the workflow
• Experience with After Effects and Illustrator
• Experience with Framer is a plus
• Adapt swiftly to evolving requirements by iterating and refining designs in response to stakeholder feedback and changing user needs
• Possess in-depth understanding of design systems, including foundational principles and component-based frameworks
• Exhibit rapid prototyping capabilities to quickly translate ideas into interactive and tangible concepts
• Experience working in user experience design/research, interactive design, user interface design, graphic design, branding or a related field
• Values data-driven and research backed design decisions
• Get involved earlier in the sales process by doing quick mockups and rapid prototyping for leads in the pipeline to prove that we deliver value
• Help the marketing team with occasional graphic design projects or new website pages
• Own the entire design lifecycle from documentation to delivery of high-fidelity designs
• Complete user and competitive research as needed to help influence design concepts and iterate design work
• Engage in usability testing and perform design validation research
• Present your designs with confidence, no matter what stage, and collect actionable feedback for iterating
• Leverage data to make well thought out and educated design decisions
• Design mobile and web experiences for various client projects, which spread across different industries and product types
• Be able to work on projects that start from scratch or improve existing applications

• Contract-based employment with US company
• Starting at $2,000 - $3,500 depending on qualifications and experience
