We’re looking for a Director of Product Design to lead and elevate our design for Polaris, our marketing AI platform that maximizes impact across audience, creative, media, and measurement. As the Director of Product Design, you’ll report to the Chief Product Officer and oversee a growing team of talented product designers, while also contributing hands-on to design projects. You will be a strategic leader who shapes the design vision, mentors your team, and collaborates closely with product, engineering, and data science to deliver world-class user experiences that drive measurable business impact.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $146,000 - $200,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

Defining the design vision and strategy for Polaris to ensure a top-tier UX aligned with business goalsManaging and mentoring two product designers, fostering growth, and delivering feedbackCollaborating with product and engineering teams to align priorities and drive developmentOverseeing the design lifecycle, from research to final implementationLeading design reviews and promoting a culture of continuous improvementAdvocating for user-centered design and positioning it as a strategic advantageConducting and guiding user research to validate and improve design solutionsRefining design systems for consistency and scalabilityStaying updated on industry trends and emerging technologiesUsing data to drive design decisions and measure their impactYou Must Have
6+ years of product design experience, including 1+ years in a leadership role, ideally in adtech SaaS or AI-driven productsExpertise in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite) and user research methodsPortfolio demonstrating impactful design work and leadership on complex projectsProven experience managing and mentoring design teamsStrong skills in user-centered design, interaction, visual design, and design systemsCollaborative experience with product, engineering, and data science teamsStrategic problem solver, simplifying complex AI-driven features for diverse usersExcellent communicator with the ability to influence and present design decisionsNice to Have
