Role Description

The Technical Documentation Specialist will write, publish and distribute technical documents, including:

• User manuals
• Workbooks
• Reference guides
• Release notes
• Interface documents
• Service bulletins for software applications/hardware

Writing technical documentation and SOPs for client's infrastructure systems requires a strong technical background and understanding of the technical systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years experience hands-on administration of the following:
• Windows server 2008 and 2k12
• Red Hat Linux RHEL 5 and 6
• NetApp or other major NAS/SAN
• VMware ESX
• WAN/LAN Networking
• Oracle and MSSQL databases technologies
• Load Balancers (NetScaler and F5)
• Backup Methodologies
• Disaster Recovery replication methodologies
• Protocols - NFS, CIFS, FTP, SSL, SSH, iSCSI, NTP, PGP
• Prior experience creating technical documentation including:
• Network and System architecture diagrams
• Data and process flow
• How-to guides
• SOPs

Requirements

• Proficient in the following:
• Microsoft Office suite specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Microsoft Visio
