Role Description

We are looking for Translators with experience in translating patents from Simplified Chinese into Japanese patent in the field of Electricity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in translating and proofreading patents.

• Expected Weighted Volume Per Week: 2,000-5,000 words
• CAT Tool: XTM

Qualifications

• Multilingual profile
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the translation and/or editing of patent documents (more specifically, Electricity and Chemistry patents)
• Proficiency in the use of CAT tools, especially with XTM
• Attention to detail
• Good availability and quick response times

Requirements

• Selected candidates will be invited to complete a Simplified Chinese into Japanese translation test.
• Approved linguists will be included in our pool of external partners, and professional details will be made available to our global Production teams.
