Role Description

• Develop web page, application, and quote-flow content for usaa.com.
• Create engaging, user-centered content aligned with USAA brand standards.
• Review and analyze business requirements to develop appropriate content solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, partners, and design teams.
• Deliver quality assignments within short turnaround times, often between 1 to 3 days based on complexity.
• Edit and maintain content directly within Figma design files and prototypes.
• Ensure content supports customer experience, usability, accessibility, and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of UX Writing or Content Design experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with SEO/AEO best practices, AP Style, and content style guides.
• Experience partnering with subject matter experts and design teams to create exceptional user experiences.
• Strong ability to write in a clear, concise, and conversational tone.
• Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Ability to incorporate feedback and adapt writing style as needed.
• Strong communication, strategy, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• UX Writing Certification preferred.
• Strong portfolio or writing samples are required.

Requirements

• Financial services industry writing experience.
• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience.
• AI prompt writing experience.
• Experience building web pages and user flows using design system components.
• Understanding of component variants and content management within Figma or AEM.
• Previous copywriting experience.
• SEO/AEO content optimization experience.
