Role Description
The Sr. Technical Writer/Editor will provide expert technical editing and content refinement support across communications, web content, and technical resources for our federal client program. In this full-time role, you will:

Review, edit, and rewrite technical materials to ensure full compliance with plain language standards, active voice, logical content organization, and consistent formatting.

Adapt tone and style to suit various target audiences and sensitivity levels.

Ensure complex technical information is communicated clearly, concisely, and effectively to diverse audiences.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree from an accredited institution in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.

4+ years of overall professional technical writing and editing experience.

3+ years of dedicated technical editing experience supporting federal or enterprise communications, web content, and technical documentation projects.
Requirements

Outstanding grammar, spelling, punctuation, and written communication skills in English.

Expert proficiency in applying plain language principles, active voice, appropriate detail levels, and consistent styling to improve ease of understanding and readability.

Proven ability to adapt tone, structure, and style to match specific target audience sensitivities and technical comprehension levels.

Skilled in organizing, structuring, and editing technical resources, user documentation, and program communications into clean, accessible formats.
