Role Description

The Senior Scientific Content Specialist will be a key individual contributor within the Integra PrecisionQ business unit, responsible for leading the development of complex, high-priority scientific content while remaining actively engaged in scientific writing, interpretation, content strategy, and quality review. This individual will serve as a scientific content lead for selected programs and will support development of scientific publications, Market Insights deliverables, implementation tools, and strategic content. The Senior Scientific Content Specialist will partner closely with Analytics, Quality Initiatives, Commercial Operations, and client-facing teams to translate complex evidence, stakeholder perspectives, real-world data, and business questions into compelling scientific narratives and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific content development for selected high-priority, complex, or strategically important programs, including program-level content strategy, scientific direction, and quality oversight.
• Write and lead development of scientific deliverables, including discussion guides, slide decks, pre-read materials, executive summaries, Market Insights reports, strategic recommendations, publications, conference materials, educational resources, and implementation tools.
• Integrate clinical evidence, stakeholder perspectives, real-world data, quality improvement findings, market dynamics, and client objectives into cohesive scientific narratives and actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to scalable content-development processes, standards, workflows, internal training, knowledge management, reusable content libraries, and institutional retention of insights across clients, disease states, and programs.
• Provide senior-level scientific and editorial review to ensure content is accurate, evidence-based, strategically aligned, clear, consistent, original, appropriately referenced, compliant, and client-ready.
• Lead or support scientific and content-related discussions with clients, moderators, Key Opinion Leaders, authors, faculty, and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with project, operational, analytical, quality, commercial, and client-facing teams to manage content timelines, review cycles, expectations, dependencies, escalations, and cross-functional coordination for assigned programs.
• Maintain awareness of relevant therapeutic-area developments, treatment trends, competitor activity, evidence gaps, and changes in the healthcare marketplace; conduct targeted literature research and evidence synthesis to ensure deliverables reflect current evidence and appropriate clinical context.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines, client expectations, and internal business goals.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability in all internal and external interactions.
• Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement, process standardization, workflow efficiency, and scalable delivery practices across the Commercial Operations function.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in biomedical sciences, medicine, pharmacy, public health, epidemiology, health economics, or a related field required; PhD, PharmD, MD, MPH, or MS preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in medical writing or scientific communications.
• Extensive oncology experience required.
• Extensive experience supporting advisory boards, Key Opinion Leader engagements, Market Insights programs, stakeholder research, or related scientific exchange activities.
• Experience developing scientific publications or congress materials, including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and presentations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, scientific judgment, attention to detail, and ability to provide clear, concise, actionable feedback.
• Strong project leadership, prioritization, and workload-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables and timelines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe suites and reference management software (Endnote preferred).
• Must reside in either the Eastern or Central U.S. time zones and be willing to travel up to 30%.
