Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Copywriter to join our client's creative team at a full-service marketing agency. The ideal candidate is a strategic and versatile writer who can develop compelling copy across multiple industries, brands, and marketing channels. This role requires someone who can turn complex ideas and marketing objectives into clear, engaging, and persuasive content while adapting their writing style to different audiences, industries, and brand voices.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop compelling, high-quality copy for digital marketing campaigns, websites, landing pages, social media, email campaigns, advertisements, presentations, and other marketing materials.
• Work with clients to understand their business objectives, target audiences, brand voice, messaging, and content requirements.
• Translate client briefs, marketing strategies, and campaign objectives into clear, engaging, and persuasive messaging.
• Develop and maintain distinct brand voices, messaging frameworks, campaign concepts, headlines, taglines, and calls-to-action for different clients.
• Write persuasive copy for paid search, paid social, display advertising, websites, landing pages, email marketing, and other digital channels.
• Conduct research on clients, industries, competitors, products, services, and target audiences to develop relevant and effective content.
• Collaborate closely with Account Management, Creative, Design, SEO, Paid Media, and Social teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns.
• Present and explain copy concepts and creative recommendations to clients and confidently communicate the rationale behind messaging decisions.
• Review, edit, and proofread content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, tone, consistency, and brand alignment, incorporating client and internal feedback.
• Manage multiple client projects, deadlines, briefs, revisions, and approvals using ClickUp, ensuring tasks and deliverables remain organized and up to date.
• Take ownership of copywriting projects from initial brief through final approval, proactively communicating project status, questions, and potential challenges to clients and internal teams.
• Stay current with digital marketing, content, advertising, SEO, social media, AI-assisted writing tools, and emerging creative trends to continuously improve the agency's content and creative capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional copywriting experience, within a marketing, advertising, or creative agency.
• Experience writing for B2B, healthcare, dental, MedTech, medical devices, or other professional industries.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across digital marketing, advertising, websites, social media, email, and other marketing channels.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, storytelling, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles, audience psychology, brand positioning, and persuasive communication.
• Proven ability to communicate directly with clients and confidently present creative concepts and recommendations.
• Ability to adapt writing style and tone for different brands, industries, audiences, and platforms.
• Strong research skills and the ability to understand and communicate complex products, services, and industries.
• Experience working collaboratively with design, account management, SEO, paid media, and strategy teams.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with ClickUp or similar project-management platforms is required.
• Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research, paid advertising, and digital marketing platforms is a plus.
