Role Description

The User Experience Writer creates high-quality, high-performing content to enable innovative, cohesive, and compliant digital experiences that serve the needs of members, member service representatives, and business partners. This role partners closely with design teams, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to deliver engaging and user-centered digital content for the website.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop web page content for the website using clear, concise, and engaging copy aligned to brand and style standards.
• Read and analyze business requirements to create effective content solutions.
• Collaborate with business partners, stakeholders, designers, and subject matter experts to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Edit and manage content within design files and content management platforms.
• Deliver high-quality assignments within aggressive timelines, typically ranging from one to three days depending on complexity.
• Ensure all content adheres to SEO/AEO best practices, brand guidelines, and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of User Experience Writing or Content Design experience.
• Strong knowledge of SEO/AEO, AP Style, and enterprise content style guides.
• Experience partnering with SMEs and design teams to create digital user experiences.
• Previous copywriting and/or SEO writing experience.
• Ability to write in a clear, concise, and conversational tone.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• UX Writing Certification.
• Portfolio or writing samples are required.
• Figma, including:
• Editing text within components, frames, modals, and prototypes.
• Navigating design panels and file layers.
• Modifying font styles and formatting.
• Editing version history.
• Working within established design systems and component libraries.
• SEMRush.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial Services industry writing experience.
• Experience using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Familiarity with AI prompt writing.
• Understanding of building web pages using pre-built components from a design system.
