Role Description
Be the voice behind every win. At Plus Relocation, proposals aren’t a side task handed to marketing. They’re how we win the clients we’ll serve for years. We’re looking for a skilled proposal writer to own that process end to end and be the person leadership relies on when a major opportunity lands.
What you’ll do:
-
Own each RFP from intake to submission, coordinating with business development, client relations, and subject matter experts.
-
Write and refine persuasive, client-focused responses that show how Plus is different.
-
Build polished supporting materials for proposals and finalist presentations, including decks and handouts.
-
Use AI tools like Claude to research, draft, and quality-check faster. You’ll also help shape how we use them.
-
Track wins and losses and share what you learn so every proposal gets stronger.
-
Between proposals, contribute to case studies, website copy, and other marketing content.
Qualifications
-
2+ years of proposal or RFP writing experience. Experience in relocation, HR services, benefits, or other B2B services is a plus, but not required.
-
Strong, clean writing and a sharp editing eye. AP Style familiarity is helpful.
-
Comfort managing multiple deadlines and keeping stakeholders aligned.
-
Solid skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
-
Curiosity about AI tools, and the judgment to verify what they produce.
-
A focus on the reader in everything you write.
Requirements
-
You’re the proposal lead, not one of twenty.
-
Your work goes straight to leadership and directly shapes whether we win.
-
You’ll help define how proposals get done here, including how we use AI.
-
You can work remotely, with a team that values ownership over monitoring.
-
You’ll work at a company with staying power.
-
We have nearly six decades in business, no debt, and family ownership that thinks long term.
Benefits
-
A base salary of $58,000–$73,000
-
Annual discretionary profit-sharing bonus
-
Paid floating holiday
-
401(k) retirement contributions
-
Multiple medical plan options with a significant portion of premiums paid by the company
-
Dental and vision coverage
-
Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions
-
Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid volunteer hours
-
Company paid life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance
-
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
