Role Description
AECOM is seeking a Proposal Specialist III. This role will work closely with the marketing team, business operations, and support staff to bring strong leadership, sharp compliance, skilled writing, and creativity to some of our must-win West pursuits. The job includes leading large proposals and presentations, and supports from pre-RFP project positioning through to interview stage, as required. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work schedule and can be based from a variety of locations in the US where AECOM has an office.

Interfaces with business line growth team and operations to support the process of winning work.

Leads responses to client RFI/RFQ/RFPs and applies standard pursuit processes to ensure efficiency in schedule and bid compliance.

Responsible for print, electronic and oral proposal deliverables.

Provides market research and competitive intelligence and leverages data systems and tools to support proposal strategy and business strategic planning efforts.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

A developed understanding of effective proposal and presentation strategy development and compliance, writing and production.

A strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign and Acrobat, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience demonstrating leadership qualities.

Excellent writing skills, with an aptitude and attention to detail.

Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
-
Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently, follow up, and bring tasks and projects to full completion.

Proven organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to complete varied work tasks on schedule, and lead deliverable efforts by others; and the proven ability to manage documents.

A detailed knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.

Working knowledge of and interest in the A/E industry, including AECOMβs projects, people, credentials, and competitors is highly preferred.

A working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.

An understanding of CRM Salesforce experience is a plus.
