Role Description

The Locked On Seahawks host will lead a 30-minute daily podcast, Monday through Friday, focused entirely on the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks. The show should be informative, entertaining, conversational, and built for the daily Seahawks fan. The host should be able to react quickly to news, explain why stories matter, offer strong opinions, and create a consistent daily habit for listeners and viewers.

This role requires more than simply knowing football. We are looking for someone who can connect with Seahawks fans, communicate clearly, bring energy to the microphone, and make the show feel essential during the season, offseason, free agency, the NFL Draft, training camp, and every major storyline in between.

Key Responsibilities

• Host Locked On Seahawks five days per week, Monday through Friday.
• Produce a daily show of approximately 30 minutes.
• Cover the Seattle Seahawks year-round, including games, practices, roster moves, injuries, trades, free agency, the NFL Draft, coaching decisions, NFC West storylines, and leaguewide stories that impact the team.
• Bring strong opinions, clear analysis, and an engaging daily voice to Seahawks fans.
• Prepare show topics, rundowns, guest segments, and daily discussion points.
• Record clean, professional audio and video.
• Take ownership of the show’s production workflow, including recording, editing/production coordination, posting episodes, publishing video content, and promoting the show across social and digital platforms.
• Build and maintain a consistent relationship with Seahawks fans across podcast, YouTube, and social platforms.
• Use social media to promote episodes, react to breaking news, engage with fans, and grow the show’s audience.
• Represent the Locked On Podcast Network professionally and consistently.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the Seattle Seahawks.
• Strong understanding of the current Seahawks roster, coaching staff, front office, team history, NFC West rivals, and year-round NFL calendar.
• Ability to speak confidently and clearly about Seahawks football.
• Strong opinions, but with preparation and credibility behind them.
• Comfortable hosting solo and/or with guests.
• Experience in podcasting, broadcasting, YouTube, radio, digital media, sports writing, or social video.
• Ability to produce consistent content on a Monday–Friday schedule.
• Comfortable using audio/video recording tools and basic editing or production workflows.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Ability to connect authentically with Seahawks fans.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal Locked On Seahawks host is a strong communicator, a prepared football mind, and an authentic Seahawks voice. You understand what matters to Seahawks fans: the quarterback conversation, roster development, the offensive identity, the defense, the NFC West, the legacy of the franchise, the expectations in Seattle, and the daily conversation around the team.

You do not need to sound like a traditional broadcaster. We are looking for someone who can become a trusted daily companion for Seahawks fans by being smart, consistent, energetic, opinionated, and relatable. The right candidate should be able to explain the Seahawks clearly, challenge fan assumptions when needed, ask smart questions, and bring personality to every episode.
