[Hiring] Junior-Mid Content Moderator @EverAI

Role Description

You’ll be on our Compliance Team, reporting to our Senior Content Moderator and Legal and Safety Lead. You'll help ensure our platform remains safe, compliant, and respectful for all users.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Moderation & Compliance
  • Review and approve or reject user-generated content based on platform standards; document basis for moderation decisions.
  • Conduct safety/compliance reviews on in-house content and workflows, e.g., reviewing datasets and AI characters against platform standards.
  • Take action on content flagged for violations (e.g., inappropriate use, content flagged by our internal detection systems, etc.).
  • Moderate video, image, and text content according to internal guidelines and processes.
  • Categorize and tag content for appropriate visibility and usage across the platform.
• Regular manager check-ins
  • Meet with your manager on a regular basis to clarify questions, ensure processes are working as expected, and share any relevant insights.

Note: You will be regularly exposed to NSFW content in this role.

Qualifications

• Prior experience moderating content for an online platform.
• Understanding of policy enforcement and compliance practices.
• Ability to interpret and apply moderation guidelines with sound judgment.
• Excellent command of English, including slang and nuanced communication.
• Strong communication & collaborative skills.
• Goal-oriented, ownership, and commitment.
• Doer mindset - we are moving fast and we need people that can find the right balance between executing, planning and strategy.
• Humble - willing to learn, open to feedback.
• #NSFW - you are comfortable reviewing and discussing NSFW content.

Requirements

• Experience moderating NSFW content or working with DMCA/copyright issues.
• Fluency in additional languages.
• Familiarity with common moderation tools and automation platforms.
