Role Description

This role involves creating high-quality content for a variety of clients in different industry verticals.

Conduct keyword research to identify content opportunities for clients
Write comprehensive articles on a variety of topics with minimal supervision
Adapt tone and complexity of content to suit the audience and align with style guides
Achieve client SEO traffic goals by creating content that ranks and generates organic links
Perform outreach to journalists and bloggers periodically
Write effective titles to improve click-through rates
Nurture relationships with writers, reporters, and web editors
Implement feedback from editors, clients, and teammates
Deliver a solutions-oriented approach to growing clients' online presence

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience as a content writer, ideally published on reputable news sites or industry blogs
Extensive knowledge of niche topics within health, legal, finance, and/or tech industries
Experience writing for the web, focusing on digital content including long-form guides, how-tos, software/tool roundups, comparison posts, and trend reports
Strong interpersonal skills to form productive working relationships in a remote environment
Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects effectively
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
Close attention to detail and focus on creating quality content
Proven ability to generate creative ideas that attract attention on the web

Requirements

4-year university degree (suggested)
Intermediary SEO knowledge with a working knowledge of SEO tools
Experience collaborating with design teams and providing guidance on design and UX best practices
