[Hiring] Creative Director of Copy @Twin Health

Role Description

Twin is looking for a Creative Director, Copy to lead the voice behind everything Twin writes, both for members reversing and preventing disease and for the employers, health plans, and consultants who buy the platform for them. You'll report to the Sr. Director, Brand & Experience and own Twin's written voice end to end.

• Set the standard for Twin's written voice.
• Build a system that allows a growing team to write consistently.
• Step in personally on high-stakes copy that carries the brand.
• Lead a small, growing writing team while also being a hands-on writer.

Responsibilities

• Own Twin's voice and tone across every audience (member, employer, health plan, broker/consultant, unions).
• Keep the Voice & Language Guide alive as the team and brand evolve.
• Act as Twin's narrative through-line to prevent narrative drift.
• Own the overarching content calendar for brand and editorial voice across all channels.
• Apply a structured editorial plan to significant content before it ships.
• Lead, mentor, and grow Twin's copywriters.
• Distribute workload and priorities across the writing team.
• Write and edit personally where the brand's voice is most exposed.
• Partner with the Sr. Director, Brand & Experience and Product Marketing.
• Operate as the cross-functional owner for content routing.
• Review and elevate the team's work before it ships.
• Share a creative remit with the design leadership counterpart.
• Build repeatable systems for quality assurance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in copywriting or content strategy, including experience leading or mentoring other writers.
• A portfolio that shows real range — consumer/emotional writing and B2B/executive writing.
• Experience translating brand strategy and voice guidelines into a working system.
• Comfortable as both a working writer and a people leader.
• Strong judgment on brand voice flexibility.
• Experience driving alignment and quality across teams.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Design, and clinical/legal reviewers.
• Comfortable operating as a leadership-team delegate.

Bonus Skills

• Experience building or running a formal brand voice/style guide.
• Executive ghostwriting or founder-voice experience.
• Familiarity with claims/clinical review processes in a regulated industry.
• Experience mentoring writers from junior to senior levels.

Compensation and Benefits

• The compensation range for this position is $190,000 - $205,000 annually.
