Role Description

Aquent Studios is looking for a Copy Editor on the Brand Review Team who will support a high-volume product launch cadence for our top Tech client. Brand Review sits directly on the critical path for every campaign, asset, and name before it goes to market - and this role closes the discipline where current review coverage is thinnest: copy. You'll work within a 1-2 week campaign lead time, reviewing copy for brand compliance across a fast-moving slate of product launches, and help eliminate a single-reviewer bottleneck that's currently constraining turnaround.

What You'll Do

• Review copy, tone, terminology, and naming for launch campaigns (Tiers 1 & 2) against brand guidelines
• Provide in-artifact feedback directly in the live working file (Google Doc, Figma, Frame.io, etc.) so launch teams and agencies can action it in place
• Label every review comment by severity - blocking (must fix before launch) or advisory (fix where time allows) - so agencies can triage under deadline
• Record a written feedback and outcome summary in the case tracking system before each case closes
• Work within the sprint cadence, using the team's working chat channel and the automated launch tracker
• Escalate unresolved blocking issues to Brand Ops when they're close to a launch date

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of copyediting experience, preferably focused on large-scale brand and marketing copy
• Comfort giving fast, clear, severity-tagged feedback under deadline pressure
• Experience working inside live collaborative tools (Google Docs, Figma, Frame.io) rather than static file review
• Ability to work within a defined sprint cadence and escalation process
• Judgment to distinguish blocking brand-compliance issues from advisory polish

Requirements

• This role reviews copy - it does not create or produce campaign assets
• It does not evaluate naming for trademark or legal clearance (owned by brand strategists and Legal)
• It does not own brand strategy, architecture, or guideline authoring
• It does not handle case coordination, intake, tiering, or tracker upkeep (owned by Brand Ops)
