Role Description

The Content Production Assistant is a key member of the Content Operations team, responsible for uploading, formatting, publishing, and maintaining digital content across TechnologyAdvice's websites. Working closely with Editorial and other cross-functional teams, the CPA helps ensure content is published accurately, on time, and in accordance with established formatting and basic SEO standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with digital content and technology, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. The role offers hands-on experience with multiple content management systems (CMS), exposure to different websites and content types, and opportunities to develop technical, problem-solving, and content operations skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience working with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress or headless CMS platforms.
• Experience uploading, formatting, publishing, or maintaining digital content.
• Familiarity with basic SEO practices, including metadata, headings, image alt text, and internal linking.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly when reviewing content, formatting, and links.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
• Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine content or CMS issues, follow established processes, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Willingness to learn new CMS platforms, receive feedback, and adapt to changing workflows and priorities.
• Familiarity with ClickUp or similar task management tools is a plus.
• Must have a working laptop/pc and internet, and a backup connection.
• Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward.
