Qualifications

At least 2 years of relevant experience in website content population, website production, or a similar role

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, polished work

Experience working with website content management systems (CMS)

Ability and willingness to learn Golden Shovel's proprietary CMS
-
Experience formatting website content for readability and visual appeal
-
Strong visual judgment and understanding of spacing, layout, image placement, basic branding principles, client-approved hex codes, column use, and page structure
-
Ability to resize, crop, and optimize images independently
-
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including access to the software, or advanced proficiency in Canva or another approved image-editing platform

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Ability to follow written instructions, documentation, established processes, and quality standards

Reliable internet connection and appropriate equipment and workspace
Requirements

Experience in website content population or website production

Knowledge of Section 508 and web accessibility requirements

Basic knowledge of HTML and HTML5

Practical knowledge of SEO and website content optimization

Experience managing multiple website projects simultaneously

Experience working remotely as part of a distributed team
Responsibilities
-
Populate text, images, graphics, documents, links, and other approved content in Golden Shovel's proprietary CMS
-
Format content to create visually appealing, easy-to-read web pages while maintaining consistency across each website

Use available layout tools, including columns and other page components, to maximize horizontal space and avoid unnecessarily long or text-heavy pages
-
Enhance web pages with appropriate images, icons, and other visual elements
-
Apply client branding standards, including approved colors and hex codes
-
Resize, crop, and optimize images for web use while preserving proper proportions and visual quality
-
Use Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or another approved image-editing platform to prepare images independently
-
Apply established Section 508 and website accessibility standards when populating content
-
Conduct light content research and collect relevant information as assigned

Complete assigned SEO and website content optimization tasks

Provide administrative and project support as needed
