Role Description
The Content Management Writer Sr. Analyst plays a critical role within RFP Strategy & Operations for Cigna's U.S. Commercial markets. This individual is responsible for creating and owning RFP responses that directly impact the overall new business and retention sales process.
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) across multiple products and capabilities to develop new content and ensure existing content remains current and accurate.
- Develop winning RFP responses.
- Build meaningful relationships with SMEs and manage timing and strategic needs of the RFP process.
- Provide support and a strategic mindset in creating, managing, and editing proposal content in a timely manner while adhering to writing standards.
- Support training and mentoring, technology advancements, and lead process improvements as an internal subject matter expert for content development and optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or extensive industry experience in English/Writing/Editing, Proposals, Knowledge Management, Communications, Sales, Product, and/or Marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Microsoft Word).
- RFPIO Proposal Automation software experience a plus.
- Thorough understanding of Cigna's brand, products, and services is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and editing and writing skills (experience with Chicago Manual of Style a plus).
- Ability to identify process and training gaps and proactively drive solutions.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to network effectively within the company.
- Ability to change direction quickly and comfortably and handle uncertainty/make decisions when information is not available.
- Strong research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
