Role Description

At Alzheimer's Society, we believe no one should face dementia alone. We're looking for a talented and motivated Bid Writer to join our Partnerships and Business Development team, working 35 hours per week on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity to use your writing skills to create meaningful change.

• Develop bids that could secure funding for life-changing services.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create compelling tenders and funding applications.
• Work closely with teams to understand the impact of their services.
• Review commissioning priorities and identify opportunities for expansion.
• Develop service budgets with finance colleagues.
• Support teams in preparing for commissioner presentations.
• Build partnerships to reach more people in need of support.

This is a home-based role with occasional travel across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, including some overnight stays when required (travel expenses covered).

Qualifications

• Experience of writing bids, tenders, or funding applications is valuable.
• Ability to communicate persuasively and think creatively.
• Organised and proactive with strong relationship-building skills.
• Motivated by the opportunity to make a difference.
