Role Description

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Travel, Hospitality & Culinary Experts with strong expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, presentation reconstruction, data visualisation, visual storytelling, content editing, and executive-level business communication to contribute to an advanced AI training and presentation-evaluation project. Selected professionals will reconstruct and improve business presentations related to travel, hospitality, tourism, and food and beverage, while preserving factual accuracy, industry context, definitions, and assumptions. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

• PowerPoint Slide Reconstruction
  • Reconstruct business slides from reference images using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Accurately reproduce text, charts, layouts, and supporting visual elements
  • Maintain professional formatting, alignment, hierarchy, and visual consistency
  • Preserve essential industry terminology, definitions, assumptions, and caveats
  • Ensure reconstructed slides remain faithful to the original source material
• Presentation Design & Visual Storytelling
  • Improve slide clarity, visual hierarchy, narrative flow, and overall presentation quality
  • Apply executive-level presentation standards to senior and client-facing materials
  • Strengthen visual storytelling across travel, hospitality, and culinary content
  • Refine layouts, typography, spacing, and information structure where appropriate
  • Balance visual improvement with the original communication objective
• Industry Content & Data Visualisation
  • Review materials such as property performance analyses, guest-experience summaries, food and beverage strategies, and demand forecasts
  • Improve charts, exhibits, and other visual representations of business information
  • Edit content for clarity and impact while preserving factual accuracy
  • Apply sound message hierarchy and evidence-supported titling
  • Maintain relevant industry frameworks and context throughout revisions
• Design Review & Decision Rationale
  • Identify presentation elements that should be improved, retained, or refined
  • Produce detailed written logs explaining significant changes
  • Document intentional decisions to preserve existing elements and the rationale behind them
  • Evaluate exhibit choices, narrative structure, and presentation logic
  • Apply critical thinking when assessing alternative design or editorial approaches
• Quality, Delivery & AI Evaluation
  • Review completed slides for accuracy, consistency, and professional presentation quality
  • Apply strong attention to detail across content, design, and visual communication
  • Complete individual slide assignments within approximately 1–2 hours
  • Participate in flexible, sprint-based project cycles aligned with availability
  • Contribute industry and presentation expertise to AI training and evaluation workflows

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct experience in hospitality, travel, tourism, food and beverage, or a related field
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
• Proven experience creating executive, board-level, or client-facing presentations
• Strong presentation-reconstruction and slide-design skills
• Experience with data visualisation, visual storytelling, and message hierarchy
• Strong written communication and content-editing skills
• Ability to improve narrative and visual elements while preserving factual accuracy
• Strong critical-thinking ability and attention to detail
• Familiarity with industry-specific frameworks, terminology, definitions, and assumptions
• Ability to explain and defend presentation and exhibit choices clearly
• Experience with AI model training, evaluation, or rubric development is advantageous but not required

Engagement Details

• Independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote
• Compensation: $150–$350/hour
• Individual slide assignments are expected to take approximately 1–2 hours
• Work will involve PowerPoint slide reconstruction, presentation design, data visualisation, content editing, and visual storytelling
• Assignments may cover property performance, guest experience, food and beverage strategy, occupancy, demand forecasting, and other industry topics
• Work may be organised through flexible, sprint-based project cycles
• Strong industry judgement, factual accuracy, and presentation quality are central to this engagement
• Project scope, workload, presentation topics, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project requirements
• Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
