[Hiring] Luxury Travel Designer / Travel Concierge @Coconut

Role Description

We're currently looking for top talent to fill the role below:

• Role: Luxury Travel Designer / Travel Concierge
• VA Rate: $650
• Availability: Part time - 20 hours/week
• Time Zone: 6am ET start time

Qualifications

• Super-user experience with travel concierge systems — Safari Portal and Tern especially (also Travify, Fora); current team underutilizes these, so a power user would unlock significant value.
• Spanish fluency (emerging Mexico opportunities).
• Based in South Africa.
• Self-starter who can run with tasks without oversight; critical thinker and proactive communicator.
• High emotional intelligence — able to handle service recovery, not just escalate issues.

Requirements

• Travel experience with booking and managing itineraries (5+ years, bookings, payments, deposits, suppliers).
• Excellent customer service and executive-level communication; this is a client-facing role (comfortable with C-suite and high-net-worth clients).
• English as a first language, perfect English fluency.
• 5+ years in travel as a concierge, experience with concierge and booking.
• Experience with Safari Portal and Tern (primary systems in use).
