[Hiring] Event Travel Manager @Navan

Role Description

The Event Travel Manager provides high-quality event travel management to key clients, including the General Manager, Global Head of Event Travel, team leads, and the wider Event Travel team. This role builds relationships across the business, shares market expertise, and supports clients in achieving their event objectives. The manager also drives revenue across Navan's Event Travel services while ensuring clients receive a strong return on their investment.

• Assist our travellers with best-in-class personalized travel support, resolving issues before, during, and after travel.
• Provide accurate and detailed fare information for hotel, flight, car, and rail bookings, as needed.
• Work closely with client contacts to understand and meet program objectives/outcomes.
• Identify clients' measures of critical success factors for projects.
• Maintain thorough project documentation to ensure contract and documentation policy compliance (i.e., service agreements, SLAs, etc.).
• Troubleshoot issues by regularly referring to agent tools for guidelines on assisting travellers.
• Responsible for coordination of program planning from post-sale stage to final billing.
• Participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on new product launches, industry updates, and team initiatives.
• Constantly improve travel industry and platform knowledge to set the standard for best-in-class travel managers.
• Training in Navan Systems.
• Support Team Lead.

Qualifications

• One to three years of Group Travel planning experience preferred.
• Professional oral and written communication skills required.
• Navan TravelXen knowledge preferred with a strong understanding of travel bookings.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Suites, with the technical aptitude to learn new technology.
• Client-facing video calls for setup and project management required.
• Knowledge of internal communication tools – Slack.
• Ability to multitask with a desire to resolve urgent matters quickly and efficiently.
• An empathetic disposition with the ability to maintain a professional attitude.
• Experience and ability to adapt and thrive in a hyper-growth environment.
• 4+ years of GDS experience preferred (Sabre including PNR building and ticketing, Amadeus and NDC preferred).
• An independent thinker who can use available resources to troubleshoot issues and resolve customer inquiries.
• Prior successful experience in developing and maintaining key client and Account Manager/Account Executive relationships.
• Proven record with strong customer service skills and strong CSAT positive outcomes.
• Reliable and flexible with an openness to working non-traditional shifts (early mornings, late evenings, and weekends).
• An interest in travel with a basic understanding of world geography.

• The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need.
• To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, a variety of factors are considered, including primary work location, evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
• For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation.
• Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets.
