[Hiring] Associate Travel Consultant @American Express Global Business Travel

Role Description

As a Travel Consultant with German and English, you’ll join our highly skilled remote team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients.

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)
• Educate customers on travel options including air, road, rail, and accommodations
• Use various Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), including Amadeus. Training will be provided
• Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements
• Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests
• Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working in a call center
• Professional communication (written and verbal) in both German and English
• Computer and application skills, including Microsoft applications and internet browsing
• Understanding of math applications, including percentages and taxes
• Passion for excellence in client service and attention to detail
• Act with integrity, and look after personal traveler information
• Resolving customer issues quickly and independently and with supplier
• Teamwork and openness to feedback

Requirements

• Our Traveler Care unit is a 24/7 operation. In this role, the working hours are from Monday to Friday within two shifts: 8am-4pm and 10am-6pm, following the German holiday calendar.
• We provide a 2-months training. The first and the last week takes place in our office in Warsaw (accommodation and transport fee will be covered by the company).
• The role is fully remote in Poland - must reside in Poland.
