The Supply Chain Manager helps drive procurement strategy, inventory performance, and supplier partnerships for a global medical equipment manufacturer. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 7-10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or purchasing roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably Sage 100 or a similar platform
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to develop detailed project plans from high-level directives
• Strong supplier management, negotiation, and follow-through skills
• Professional, dependable, and punctual work ethic
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Consistent ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal errors
• Self-directed, independent, and resourceful approach to work

Requirements

• Perform daily purchasing activities while ensuring accurate quantities and specifications
• Analyze historical and forecast demand data to maintain optimal inventory stocking levels
• Communicate with production facilities and raw material suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with vendors
• Evaluate vendor performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and delivery improvements
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of supply chain data within the ERP system, including vendor information, part numbers, and specifications
• Manage one-time and large-scale purchasing requirements for customer onboarding
• Assess purchasing trends and update procurement strategies accordingly
• Manage and communicate production schedules, delivery dates, and lead times to customer service teams
• Monitor vendor lead times and ensure shipment deadlines are met
• Assist with inventory receiving activities
• Support vendor-related quality communications in coordination with the quality team
• Coordinate with customer service and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and shipment of products
• Monitor production backlogs and identify alternative sourcing solutions when necessary
• Implement and improve standard supply chain operating procedures
• Track and achieve established supply chain department KPIs
• Coordinate with customer service on new product requests, expedited deliveries, sourcing requirements, and product specification inquiries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
• Manage purchasing and supply chain correspondence through completion and fulfillment of business requirements
