Role Description

The Supply Chain Manager will lead and optimize Milvian's end-to-end supply chain operations, including:

• Procurement
• Vendor management
• Inventory planning
• Logistics
• Global hardware readiness

This role requires deep expertise in global supply chain management, including:

• International procurement
• Logistics
• Customs
• Hardware deployment across multiple regions

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing supply chain strategies that support Milvian's rapid growth and global expansion.
• Owning procurement for hardware, gateways, sensors, meters, and installation materials.
• Managing supplier relationships and negotiating pricing, lead times, and purchasing terms.
• Overseeing inventory planning, stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock strategies.
• Owning and optimizing Milvian's global supply chain strategy across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East.
• Developing scalable processes for international procurement, freight coordination, customs clearance, and cross-border hardware movement.
• Managing global shipping operations including vendor shipments, warehouse transfers, customer deliveries, and installer deployment logistics.
• Ensuring compliance with country-specific import/export requirements, customs regulations, duties, taxes, and documentation requirements.
• Building strategies to mitigate global supply chain risks including lead time variability, regional restrictions, customs delays, and hardware shortages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations.
• Strong experience managing global supply chains across multiple countries and regions.
• Deep understanding of international logistics, customs processes, freight forwarding, and import/export regulations.
• Experience managing hardware-based supply chains in a fast-growth environment.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
