[Hiring] Senior Logistics Engineer @4flow

Role Description

You take on a responsible role in challenging logistics planning and implementation projects and develop holistic solutions together with the project team for national and international clients.

• Create and evaluate layout alternatives.
• Design material flows.
• Define efficient logistics and production processes, considering automation and digitalization potential.
• Develop detailed functional and system specifications for warehouse automation technology.
• Support tendering processes for logistics equipment and systems in close coordination with customers and suppliers.
• Implement the developed concepts directly on site at our clients’ locations.
• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of sub-projects and workstreams.
• Actively contribute to internal optimization and development projects.
• Share knowledge within the team and help further develop 4flow’s knowledge management.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed a master’s degree with a focus on logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in logistics planning, logistics engineering, and process automation.
• Independently managed complex projects related to the construction of distribution centers or in production environments.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Deep understanding of processes and ability to structure and clearly communicate complex topics.
• Very good user knowledge of MS Office; experience with CAD software is a plus.
• Good technical understanding of logistics systems and automation solutions.
• Confident communication in English; German is a plus.
• Professional and persuasive presentation skills when dealing with clients.
• High willingness to travel; ideally, international project or overseas experience.
