[Hiring] Procurement Manager @emeis Deutschland

Role Description

• Order materials, equipment and supplies for the shop, office, and all active projects.
• Oversee the Receiving team to ensure proper documentation and storage.
• Verify stock materials and replenish as needed.
• Define, evaluate, and refine preferred vendor relationships.
• Develop and improve procurement SOPs and purchasing workflows.
• Track purchases, deliveries, and procurement lists on Google Sheets that are shared files for team collaboration.
• Train and coach the Receiving team on procurement SOPs and filing systems.
• Cross-reference design drawings against BOMs for accuracy before procurement.
• Review completed projects with Estimating to reconcile material costs and update cost groups.
• Manage vendor returns and refunds promptly.
• Develop procurement strategy and continuously improve purchasing workflows.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with vendor relations and negotiation.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Comfortable reading construction drawings and bills of materials.
• Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to supply chain management.
