Role Description

Participate in the CSP evaluation stakeholder workshop to capture the evaluation findings, conclusions, and recommendations emerging from the evaluation.

Support the establishment and facilitation of the CSP formulation process and governance arrangements.

Develop and consolidate the evidence base required for CSP design.

Conduct strategic analysis of the operating environment and WFP comparative advantages.
-
Facilitate internal and external consultations with key stakeholders.

Support development of the Theory of Change and Results Framework.

Develop resource projections and strategic partnership considerations.
-
Lead the drafting of CSP strategic components, including strategic outcomes, outputs, activities and implementation approaches.

Strengthen Country Office staff capacity in CSP formulation through practical guidance, coaching and knowledge transfer throughout the process.

Ensure incorporation of lessons learned from evaluations, reviews and management responses.

Support WFP management during review and validation processes.

Revise and finalize CSP documentation based on feedback from Country Office, Regional Bureau and Headquarters.

Participate, ideally in person, in the evaluation workshop during the week of 26 October 2026 to review the key outcomes of the CSP Evaluation and Decentralized Evaluation, and in the early-November 2026 scoping and formulation workshop to agree on the assignmentβs scope, priorities, methodology and strategic direction.

Support the establishment of the CSP Task Force and governance arrangements and prepare the CSP formulation roadmap and workplan.

Review and synthesize relevant evaluations, national and United Nations frameworks, analytical studies, reports and internal reviews to establish the evidence base for the CSP.

Identify evidence gaps, recommend additional analysis where needed, and prepare the stakeholder mapping and consultation tools.
