[Hiring] Zoho CRM Lead @Convene

Role Description

The Zoho CRM Lead is a senior Zoho Dev and CRM professional who will play a key role in the implementation and ongoing enhancement of our Zoho CRM platform. This role drives the design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Zoho CRM solutions that serve both employees and students.

• Zoho Solution Design & Delivery: Design, build, and maintain solutions on Zoho CRM and the broader Zoho One suite (e.g., Creator, Analytics, Data Prep, Canvas) using configuration, customization, and Deluge scripting.
• Documentation & Requirements: Gather and document complex requirements, translate them into actionable Zoho best-practice solutions, and create detailed process and technical documentation, including user stories.
• Solution Delivery: Work independently with minimal oversight to scope, estimate, design, configure, test, and deliver Zoho CRM solutions.
• Issue Resolution: Partner with business stakeholders to understand and promptly resolve issues within Zoho CRM and integrated systems.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear communication and support to stakeholders, including support for existing Zoho tools and integrations.
• Configuration & Release Management: Actively configure, customize, and rigorously test Zoho CRM changes, integrations, and deployments across environments.
• Vendor Collaboration: Manage communications with our Zoho implementation partner and other third parties.
• Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with other Zoho CRM professionals, providing technical guidance and sharing best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years' experience in a consulting or administration role with enterprise CRM platforms, with significant hands-on Zoho CRM experience required.
• Proven experience delivering at least two full-lifecycle enterprise CRM implementations, including at least one on Zoho CRM.
• Hands-on Zoho development experience with Deluge scripting.
• Requires Functional CRM experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead Zoho projects through requirements, design, build, testing, and deployment.
• 8+ years leading requirement-gathering workshops.
• Deep Zoho CRM developer expertise with functionality such as Zoho SDK, Canvas, Kiosk Studio, Blueprint, Widgets, and/or Cadences.
• Experience across the broader Zoho One suite.
• CRM development experience in Deluge and JavaScript; Apex or C# is a plus.
• Experience with delivery and tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
• Sound judgment and decision-making, influencing, organization, adaptability, service orientation, strong interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
• Ability to communicate fluently and professionally in verbal and written English.
• Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
• Computer literacy sufficient to effectively navigate and use the technology required for the role.

Requirements

• Zoho certifications, such as Zoho CRM Developer or Administrator, strongly preferred.
• Experience in AI features such as Zia is preferred.
• Experience integrating CRM with telephony, such as Genesys, and other enterprise systems.
• Experience building portals and/or mobile applications on top of a CRM platform.
• Experience with wireframing tools such as Figma.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Working knowledge of Azure services, including Data Lake, Logic Apps, Data Factory, Synapse Link, Service Bus, or similar, is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
• Business acumen, cost consciousness, integrity and respect, strategic thinking, follow-through, vision, and complex problem-solving.

Compliance

• Demonstrate knowledge of, and carefully follow, all applicable state laws and rules and federal and state compliance requirements and regulations.
• Effectively communicate compliance requirements to other staff as appropriate and quickly escalate any compliance concerns to the Compliance department.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Full-time remote position.
• Home office setup, a quiet place to work, ability to be on camera, and ability to hard-wire into a high-speed internet connection.
