[Hiring] Workday Extend Developer @Otis Elevator Co.

Role Description

Otis Digital Technology is seeking a Workday Extend Developer with hands-on experience in Workday Studio and Orchestrate to support critical initiatives across a fast-paced, global enterprise. You will be responsible for the development, architecting, and deployment of Workday Extend applications. Working with the Workday Extend Functional Lead, you will assist in gathering requirements and testing the applications.

• Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions related to Workday Extend
• Facilitate end-to-end process reviews and recommend process changes or enhancements to support day-to-day activities
• Work closely with COEs, shared services, employees, and managers to ensure solution meets the requirements
• Design and develop scalable applications using Workday Extend
• Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio and Orchestrate, including complex transformations and external system connectivity
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with project timelines
• Support and enhance existing Extend applications (e.g., performance goals, compliance workflows, onboarding tools)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Extend and Studio integrations
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Prepare documentation for release management and follow SDLC best practices
• Ensure solutions meet data privacy, security, and compliance standards

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree and/or 3+ years of experience meeting above competencies
• 3+ years of experience in Workday Extend development
• 2+ years of experience with Workday Studio integrations
• Strong understanding of Workday data model, business processes, and security
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across teams and with stakeholders
• Passion for creating innovative solutions and a willingness to learn Workday Core products

Requirements

• Experience with OO programming, APIs, and Postman
• Familiarity with HTML, Workday Business Process configuration, and Workday Core
• Basic knowledge of Agile and project management methodologies
• Experience with Workday Prism, EIBs, and Core Connectors
• Workday certifications in Studio or Extend
