Role Description

The client is looking for a WordPress Site Developer who can build and maintain websites end to end using WordPress and Beaver Builder. This person will work closely with the internal project team to take requirements, designs, and project specifications and independently build complete pages and site structures.

The role involves configuring plugins, troubleshooting layout or content issues, and ensuring each website is delivered to a high standard and runs reliably after launch. This is a hands-on development role where the developer will be responsible for taking ownership of the website build process from setup through deployment.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently while collaborating with a distributed team and contributing to a broader development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• WordPress Website Development
  • Build complete websites and landing pages using WordPress and Beaver Builder based on project requirements and design specifications.
  • Translate project requirements and design concepts into functional WordPress pages and layouts.
  • Ensure websites are built to a high standard with clean structure, responsive design, and consistent formatting across devices.
  • Manage the full build process from initial setup through launch and ongoing updates.
• Page Building & Layout Implementation
  • Develop and structure pages using Beaver Builder and WordPress page building tools.
  • Configure layouts, sections, and modules to match project requirements and branding guidelines.
  • Resolve layout, formatting, and styling issues that may arise during the build process.
  • Ensure pages are visually consistent, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
• Plugin Configuration & Site Functionality
  • Install, configure, and maintain WordPress plugins required for website functionality.
  • Troubleshoot plugin conflicts or performance issues when they occur.
  • Ensure integrations and plugins work reliably within the broader WordPress environment.
  • Maintain site stability and ensure plugins remain updated and functioning correctly.
• Website Maintenance & Performance Monitoring
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for WordPress websites.
  • Monitor sites to ensure they remain stable, secure, and fully functional after launch.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to content, layouts, or functionality as needed.
  • Ensure websites load properly and perform reliably across different browsers and devices.
• Collaboration With Project & Development Teams
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand project requirements and technical needs.
  • Communicate progress and updates while collaborating on site builds and improvements.
  • Support the broader development environment when needed, particularly around web-related functionality.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure deliverables are completed on time and to specification.
• Technical Integration Support
  • Assist with integrations between websites and external systems when needed.
  • Support basic technical connections between WordPress sites and recruitment or CRM platforms.
  • Work with systems such as Bullhorn ATS or Salesforce when integrations or syncing functionality is required.
  • Help ensure data flow between systems is functioning correctly when integrations are implemented.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of experience working with WordPress website development.
• Strong experience building websites using WordPress and Beaver Builder.
• Experience taking website projects from requirements and design through full implementation and launch.
• Strong understanding of WordPress site structure, page building, and plugin management.
• Ability to troubleshoot layout, plugin, and functionality issues within WordPress environments.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing assigned development tasks and deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with TypeScript or modern JavaScript environments.
• Experience working with recruitment technology platforms such as Bullhorn ATS.
• Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Experience supporting integrations between websites and external platforms.
• Experience working within staffing, recruitment, or talent-related industries.
