Role Description

AttainX is seeking a Web Software Developer / Designer II to design accessible, user-friendly web interfaces for OBP’s secure information-sharing platform. This role improves the service experience for first responders while supporting cloud modernization and enterprise integration.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related web design, front-end development, or user interface experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in web design, computer science, information technology, graphic design, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience creating responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and applicable front-end tools; ability to present a portfolio or examples of relevant work.
• Ability to translate user needs into wireframes, prototypes, navigation, layouts, and reusable interface components.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility, agency branding, usability, and secure web design practices.
• Experience collaborating with engineers and architects on API-driven interfaces, authentication workflows, version control, and Agile delivery.
• A relevant web accessibility or user experience design certification is preferred.
• US Citizen with ability to satisfy required DHS CISA OBP Government Public Trust background investigation, system access, nondisclosure, and sensitive-information protection requirements.

Requirements

• Must successfully complete the required DHS/CISA OBP Public Trust background investigation.
• Obtain and maintain a favorable DHS suitability/fitness determination (Public Trust).
• Maintain required system access.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet DHS/CISA personnel and system access requirements.
