[Hiring] Test Automation Developer @Borrowell

Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Test Automation Developer to join our dynamic product development team. In this role, you will be the quality champion for your pod, taking complete ownership of the testing process from planning to execution. You are not just a tester; you are a key partner in the development lifecycle, ensuring we launch robust, high-quality products that our users love.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a test automation role, with a strong portfolio of work on both web and mobile platforms.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks from the ground up. We use Cypress and Maestro in Borrowell.
• Strong understanding of modern application architecture, including REST APIs, mobile applications (iOS/Android), and single-page web applications.
• A proactive and self-starting attitude with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage all QA activities within your team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You are a fast learner who can ramp up quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and integrating automated tests into the deployment process.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
