Role Description

• Analyze business processes and map them to Microsoft Dynamics NAV functionality
• Design, develop, test, and deploy NAV customizations using C/AL / AL
• Configure and customize NAV modules such as:
  • Finance (GL, AR, AP, FA)
  • Sales & Purchase
  • Inventory & Warehouse
  • Manufacturing / Supply Chain (if applicable)
• Develop and modify reports using RDLC / SSRS
• Create and maintain integrations with third-party systems (REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON)
• Solution Leadership:
  • Lead NAV implementations, upgrades, and migrations (NAV to Business Central is a plus)
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and consultants
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies
• Support & Stakeholder Management:
  • Handle complex production issues and root cause analysis
  • Work closely with business users, project managers, and QA teams
  • Prepare technical documentation, design specs, and user guides
  • Participate in client discussions, requirement workshops, and solution demos

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)
• Proficiency in C/AL and/or AL development
• Strong understanding of NAV database structure and SQL Server
• Experience in customization, extension development, and integrations
• Knowledge of NAV security, permissions, and role centers

Requirements

• NAV Versions: NAV 2015–2018 (Business Central exposure preferred)
• Reporting: RDLC, SSRS
• Tools: Visual Studio Code, Object Designer, SQL Server Management Studio
• Integration techniques: Web Services, APIs, middleware
