Role Description

Consulting in the area of WebSphere infrastructure on zOS/Mainframe

• Support and administration of IBM WebSphere, including WebSphere Application Server Liberty on z/OS
• Technical planning for deploying new application releases on WAS according to ITIL within the project
• Support and technical consulting for applications in troubleshooting or implementing adjustments and extensions
• Administration of applications across various WebSphere profiles on z/OS
• Enhancement and creation of scripts to support operations within the project

Qualifications

• Operating Systems: Windows, Unix (basic knowledge of command line and GUI)
• IBM WebSphere Application Server (Classic, Liberty), Apache, Tomcat
• Version Control Systems (CVS, Subversion)
• Development Environments (IBM Rational Software Development Platform, Eclipse, NetBeans)
• Certifications:
  • IBM / IBM Certified System Administrator – WebSphere Application Server
  • ITIL / ITIL V4 Foundation
• Databases: Oracle DB, IBM DB2, MySQL
• Programming Languages: Java, J2SE (JSP, JSPF, JSTL), PHP, Smarty, SQL, HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Perl, Shell/Bash, SED, AWK, Python
• Methods / Technologies: IBM WebSphere Classic and Liberty, DB2, Unix scripting, Bash, z/OS / 3270, Java/XML, RACF
