Role Description

The selected candidate will design and develop enterprise system architectures—including software, hardware, and communication components—to support current requirements and anticipate future cross-functional needs.

• Identify, assess, and recommend solutions to meet functional and technical requirements, including hardware/software updates or upgrades.
• Develop high-level system design diagrams and architectural documentation.
• Ensure compliance with common operating environment standards.
• Analyze workflow, organizational, and planning issues and develop effective corrective actions.
• Ensure system compatibility and compliance with open systems architecture standards, including OSI and ISO reference models.
• Apply relevant standards—such as IEEE Open Systems Environment (OSE)—to support implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) solutions across application platforms, APIs, and external environments/software applications.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree.
• At least ten (10) years of relevant system architecture experience.
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance.
