Role Description

We’re looking for a passionate Staff Software Engineer to collaborate on building the next-generation AI coding platform. Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of designing and building key features.
• Work across our stack, which currently consists of TypeScript, Kotlin, and Rust.
• Possess a product mindset, thinking deeply about users and proposing ideas for product growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building complex, production-grade applications, including deep expertise in backend development in Java / Kotlin / TypeScript / Python / Rust.
• Strong computer science foundation with a deep understanding of modern software architecture and design principles.
• Product mindset — think beyond code and care about the “why” behind features.
• Strong sense of ownership — take initiative and drive projects from concept to launch.
• Deep familiarity with AI assistants and the evolving AI landscape.
• Experience with CRDTs (Conflict-free Replicated Data Types) or a strong interest in building collaborative, real-time systems.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-moving, cross-functional team.
• Passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation.
• Comfort working in dynamic, fast-changing environments, ideally with prior experience in start-ups or early-stage teams.
