[Hiring] Solutions Engineer - Pay-outs Integrations @MoneyGram

Role Description

This role supports both product and operational initiatives, delivering secure, scalable, and highly available pay-out services using enterprise API management and integration platforms such as Apigee, MuleSoft, Gravitee, or CA Layer7.

• Design, build, and support pay-out web services (REST/SOAP) using Apigee, MuleSoft, Gravitee, or CA Layer7
• Implement and maintain API gateway policies for security, including authentication, authorization, encryption and throttling controls
• Write and maintain SQL DML scripts supporting pay-out transactions
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, service contracts, and integration designs
• Identify scope and partner with business and product teams to drive resolution
• Contribute to technical decision-making by proposing practical solutions that balance business needs, risk controls, and system performance
• Partner closely with product, sales, and external partner teams to ensure integrations meet reliability and SLA requirements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in engineering, integrations, or enterprise IT systems
• Strong hands-on experience building and supporting external partnerships
• Expertise in enterprise web services (REST and SOAP)
• Experience with at least one API management platform: Apigee, MuleSoft, Gravitee, CA Layer7 (Broadcom)
• Strong understanding of HTTP/S, TLS, API security, idempotency, retries, error handling, and service versioning
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, DML scripting, reconciliation support, and performance tuning
• Experience with JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL, XSLT, and data transformations
