[Hiring] Software Production Engineer @EXL

Role Description

• Responsible for leading detailed design, end-to-end development (front-end and back-end), unit testing, and integration of applications.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture.
• Produce scalable and flexible, high-quality code that satisfies both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop, deploy, test, and maintain technical assets in a highly secure and integrated enterprise computing environment.
• Support functional testing.
• Address production support issues on a day-to-day basis and close them on time.
• Ensure on-time delivery connected with other teams.
• Cross train and mentor team members for complete knowledge of technologies.
• Analyze and translate business requirements to technical design with security and data protection settings.
• Collaborate and communicate with business users.
• Work with development team and product managers to ideate software solutions.
• Manage expectations regarding roadblocks proactively in the critical path to help ensure successful delivery of the solution.
• Own all project deliverables and ensure proper communication between teams and quality levels; responsible for end-to-end solution delivery.
• Comprehend the fundamental solution being developed/deployed – its business value, blueprint, how it fits with the overall architecture, risks, and more.
• Provide inputs on solution and design effort to build scalable features/functionality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Hands-on experience in developing web applications.
• Extensively worked on streamlining deployment processes, implementing, and supporting the product.
• Extensive experience in SSRS Reporting, Data Quality concepts, Data Governance, and Security.
• Proficient in Microsoft .NET framework 4.0/4.5, C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Web Service, IIS, HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, JQuery, Ajax, ReactJS.
• Experience with NHibernate and Entity Framework.
• Advanced SQL, Stored procedures, and functions in SQL Server 2016.
• Experience with enterprise modeling tools and data integration platforms – SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Familiarity with versioning tools Tortoise HG and SVN.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure & AWS).

Requirements

• Experience with Big Data Tools, not limited to – Python, PySpark.
• Experience in OCR tools, DTKBarcode, Esker, Biscom, and Claim reprising tools (WebStart, 3M).
• Certifications in Agile & Waterfall Methodologies.
• Experience with enterprise business intelligence platform (Tableau).
• Knowledge of AWS.
