[Hiring] Software Engineer - Platform Productivity @Grafana Labs

Role Description

This role involves working within the Platform Productivity squad to help internal engineers release their software onto our infrastructure in secure and measurable ways.

• Lead automation of the release processes (CI/CD to bootstrapping)
• Assist internal engineering teams with 'golden path' techniques
• Respond to incidents, integrate existing systems, and design new systems
• Work with Kubernetes and Docker
• Invest in developer productivity using modern AI coding assistants
• Participate in on-call rotations to support Platform tooling

Qualifications

• Experience operating code in production environments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, particularly with grafana/tanka
• Comfortable working in a remote-first company
• Eager to learn and grow within the team
• Flexible software engineer, able to choose the best tool for the job

Requirements

• Experience with CI/CD platform management and development
• Development and maintenance of Internal Engineering Platform (IEP)
• Application configuration management tooling
• Artefact management
• Experience working in a cloud environment
• Familiarity with Kubernetes administration

Benefits

• Base compensation range for this role is CAD 129,392 - CAD 155,272
• Equity and bonus (if applicable)
