[Hiring] Software Engineer III @IGT, a Nevada Corporation

Role Description

We are looking for Software Engineer (Dev) role in the Philippines (fully remote within the Philippines). Reporting to Manager Software Engineer (Dev).

• Develop and deliver software solutions to functional requirements and timeframes
• Delivery of assigned stories on schedule and accordance with agreed scope and quality
• Participation in the Agile Scrum process including:
• Refinement and point estimation of user stories
• Breakdown of user stories into subtasks
• Development of appropriately commented code
• Development of JUnit unit tests
• Management of multiple levels of branching with Git experience
• Constructive participation in code review and functional test case review
• Familiarity with build tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of the following technologies:
• Programming Languages:
• Java using Spring Boot
• TSQL (SQL Server) or SQL dialect
• Agile: Experience with Agile methodology
• The following technologies would be advantageous:
• JEE experience (EJB, JPA, JAX-RS)
• SQL Server Reporting Services
