Role Description

The Software Engineer II is an early- to mid-career professional responsible for contributing to the design, development, testing, and delivery of high-quality software solutions that support Verisk Weather Solutions products and services. This role focuses on building reliable, scalable systems that ingest, process, and deliver radar-based and other meteorological data products, with a strong emphasis on correctness, performance, and data integrity.

The individual will work closely with:

• Software engineers
• Product managers
• Scientists
• Software architects

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing well-defined designs
• Supporting applications that rely heavily on radar and weather data formats
• Focusing on software engineering excellence
• Gaining hands-on experience working with radar and meteorological data
